Qualifications

A community organizer may not make many "executive decisions" as defined by the mayor of a small town, but a community organizer does have to get people who may have diametrically opposed views pull together in the same direction to achieve a goal. So I think you can safely say that "bipartisanship" skills are strongly a part of any successful community organizer's skill sets.

One thing you don't get to do as a community organizer is drop a termination letter on the desk of somebody who disagrees with you when they are out, which when you think about it is really a pretty chickens... way to fire somebody besides.
