This should have been our year to walk away with the presidential campaign and look what we have - almost neck and neck with a hawk that will give us four more years of George Bush. Hillary may have not been a walk, but she could certainly hold her own with McCain. I just hope all those youngsters who swoon over Obama's good looks and glib tongue remember to get out and vote. Who says this election is close? Every reasonable estimate of the electoral college vote has Obama winning over 300 EV right now, and none of them have ever been below 300 and it's been as high as 340. Those calculations are based on averaging all polls in a state together and not awarding the electoral vote to the candidate unless there is at least a full percentage point advantage. The only people who claim it's close are media personalities trying to sell more advertising and they cherry pick pieces of data to make their points. The mass of accumulated data say this election is not close and never has been. We are going to walk away with this. This is not to say we can coast our way to the election, just that any narrative claiming McCain is close to beating Obama is highly contrived and not supported by all the facts together.

thanks
